Glasgow Caledonian University actively engages students in Environmental and Sustainability Initiatives resulting in the formation of The Caledonioan Environmental Society and input from the Students Union.

Over the coming months the student reps will be:
- Looking into the Green Tourism Award for the Halls of Residence
- Calculating the Carbon Footprint of the Students Union
Through the department of The Built and Natural Environment students are also actively involved in environmental matters relating to the University through their coursework. To date students have been involved in carrying out baseline environmental reviews for a range of topics including waste management and sustainable procurement. |
